Pulp packaging — opening sequence

Brief.

"A box with no rules. Cost-efficient. Eco-smart. Sized just right for logistics."

That was the challenge for the 105 & 109 headphone boxes — simple, but not easy. The twist? Each headphone pair comes tucked inside a distinctive leather pouch (see it here),

So - the box wasn't just for the headphones, but for their pouch.

It all began with the headphones. Both the 105 and 109 share the same headband shape — a detail too good not to use.

The packaging at that point was a standard magnetic flap box. Similar with the one bellow. Inside, a foam cut-out locks the leather pouch in place, keeping it steady through shipping.

So, what next.

Rethink the box from the inside out — less material, smarter form.

Pulp packaging — exploration

Form, function, philosophy

The headband shape set the tone. Shared by both the 105 and 109, it felt like the right place to begin. That curve grew into a symbol: a sound wave, simple and pure.

But also a ripple on still water, carrying Meze's philosophy — The Fine Art of Now.

Clear, minimal, and quietly expressive.

Sculpted for Purpose

Elegance and function came from the form itself. With a sculptural shape, we found a smart and graceful way to eliminate foam entirely. The box's silhouette embraces the pouch, holding it securely in place during transport.
